Focus Friday

What a crazy week it has been! As you can tell I switched to Wordpress over the weekend and thanks to the wonderful help of Michael of Uncorrupted Hosting and Revka of Berries and Cream Blog Design it went quite smooth and I am very happy with the results. But it was kind of crazy for a bit as I anxiously awaited all the switching and impending disasters ( which never came thank goodness). My 3 year old decided to give us some excitement by falling on Saturday and hurting her foot. Now while she wouldn’t walk that day she was better on Sunday and I really thought nothing of it until yesterday at the playground I spoke with a nurse friend about her still very noticeable limp. So at my friends suggestion we went off to the doctors last night (BTW she says it does not hurt at all but walks with a severe limp). The doctor while perplexed at her lack of pain did not like how long she had been limping so you guessed it off to Children’s Urgent Care we went last night for x-rays. Well 4.5 hours later we are told nothing was found and the guess/diagnosis is soft tissue damage. I am thrilled no cast because summer with a 3 year old in a cast would be quite miserable but I wish we had a more definitive answer as to why she is still favoring it so severely. Anyways on top of that and 2 birthday celebrations I did manage to get some packing done and I do say some. I have kept my stress level low which is amazing considering how much is still to be done with the house. Oh well that’s where trust comes in. So that was my week a bit on the crazy side! This week I will keep chugging along towards next weekends move out.
