Focus Friday

Well I feel like Dora the Explorer and I want to sing ” we did it, we did it!”. That’s right the house is on the market looks fabulous and has gotten off to a REALLY strong start with 5 showings in the first 2 days all with positive feedback, now we just need one to turn into an offer. I did get more sleep and my husband, kids and I have gotten to catch up on some quality time. On the down side I was a bit MIA from blogging this week due to the early arrival of an unwelcome friend… high blood pressure. Each pregnancy my blood pressure rises as the baby gets bigger and my uterus presses on major blood vessels. Fortunately it is never pre-eclampsia but I am induced early because of it. The past two times it has happened around 36 weeks, well this time it came at 31 weeks which is a bit unnerving for me. So I am taking it easy, the irony is I declined Blogher and an invite to Boston from TJ Maxx because I had an odd feeling this would happen early and sadly I was right. But the upside is I have an AMAZING doctor who I trust completely and I know my baby girl and I are in great hands.

So on to this week it is an eventful week that will be a roller coaster of ups and downs, my husbands birthday is this week which is cause for celebration but it is also the 1 year anniversary of a tragic death in the family. So please keep my family in your prayers as we deal with this anniversary.  So here is my list for next week:

• celebrate my husband’s birthday
• get together with friends for play dates ( we missed them all this month so far due to working on the house)
• sort through some random junk boxes and get them organized

So that is my focus for next week, what are you focusing on?
