International Babywearing Week (Ergo Heart2Heart Giveaway)

Today kicks off International Babywearing Week and I am am so excited to talk about something I love to do, wearing my baby. The theme this year is Close Enough to Kiss and I must admit I love kissing the top of my baby’s head when she is snuggled up close. Now that I have 3 kids wearing my youngest is even more important to me. So I wanted to share with you a few of the reasons I love baby wearing:
- I get to snuggle my baby and be productive at the same time
- I can go places without fear of strangers touching my baby and giving her germs
- My older girls do not have to work there activities around nap time because my kids love sleeping while being worn
- Dad can do it too and bond with baby while doing other things
- I don’t have to take a stroller places where it is incovenient
- I don’t have to lug a big baby car seat around
- I know my baby will be content when she is being worn no matter where I am!
I am so excited that International Baby Wearing Week falls during my Best Baby Products Carnival so of course I have a couple of great giveaways for you. The first is for the new Ergo Heart2Heart. The Heart2Heart is a new and improved newborn insert for the Ergo baby carrier. The Ergo is a soft carrier that can be worn multiple ways (front, side and back). It is great for older kids but needs an insert for the newborn. Before the new Heart2Heart was released I never used an Ergo with a newborn because I did not care for the newborn insert, but now I am loving it. My baby girl has been snuggled in her Heart2Heart quite a bit and she is not even 2 weeks old yet. Both she and I love it. I’ve never used an Ergo, but this looks absolutely dreamy! I love the added cushiony insert. It looks like the baby would be so comfy. And I love that the way it’s worn evenly distributes the weight so that you’re not supporting the baby with one side of the body. I’m expecting my fourth so this would be a wonderful addition to my family, thank you!

I love my ergo because it is symmetrical and doesn’t pull on me either way. I also love it because my babies are happy to sleep or ride in the front and the back! it is so versatile and washes well too!
