Leapfrog Alphabet Pal $.49!
Here’s the deal, Toys R US is having a 2 day sale this Friday and Saturday and the Leapfrog Alphabet Pal will be $10.49. Stop by your local Toys R Us and get the flier then take it to Target and go to customer service for a price match, then use your $10 Target coupon to get it for $4.9. I was already eyeing this for my daughter and now she is getting it for sure! (warning I have heard some Targets will not take a coupon with a price match, have not tried it myself yet though)
Before you head out to Target check out these other great Target Deals.
(thanks Lisa)

I love anything Leapfrog and I can’t wait to see if I can do this! Great share!

Went this morning and got them for .49. Ended up spending $1.52 for three. Yeah! I have three christmas gifts knocked out now.
My Target would not price match (Union, NJ). I was unable to do this.
my target said it wouldn’t price match door buster ads – only regular ads.
I called two Targets this morning, and they both said they don’t match doorbusters.
Oh, well. $10 is still a great price for it!
My local Target (Tulsa) said they only price match 7 day ads, no doorbusters or 2 day ads. I sure was disappointed.
i went to 2 targets yesterday (in CA) just 3 miles apart. 1 sold me 2 of them with price match (and said she’d do better than price match – and sold me them for $9.99 ea) no problems of questions asked — they only had 2 on the shelf. so i went to one 3 miles up the freeway, and not only was i told no at the register , that they could do it at guest services, at guest services they did the price match but said no to the coupon. i asked to speak to a mgr and got some young guy who point blank rudely told me “listen ma’am, you’re not going to get it” – so when i showed him another target did it – he said too bad, and refused. so i asked based on what did he refuse? he said ——- it’s policy not to do 2 things for one item – no price match AND coupon. so i asked to see it in writing for the policy (only because he was SO RUDE!) i told him if it was truly their policy i’d respect that if he showed it to me – he pulled out the policy and couldn’t find it. he read it 10 times and couldn’t find it – so he said it again – listen – i’m not gonna give it to you. i said – so you wanted me to honor i’d back off if it’s in the written policy – and you won’t honor that it’s not -? he said it’s in policy SOMEWHERE – maybe in the training materials. i said ok then show it to me. he had excuses – and i finally said all i want is to see in writing WHY you can’t honor this when your other store did. fast fwd — he went away for almost 10 minutes and came back and said we have a problem. while i can’t find it in writing, i was able to find that we aren’t supposed to honor any “TIMED” sales, and this sale is definitely timed from fri and sat only.
it was then – that i got agitated.
i explained that EVERY SALE is a timed sale — whether it’s from fri & sat or the weekly sale that is timed from sun to sat.
we went around a few times and he said “fine then i’ll price match for you – but i won’t take the coupon – but i’ll give you a $10 target gift card” which was fine with me.
so i got 3 of them – 2 will be gifts and 1 will be donated to the toys for tots program for christmas.
thanks for the find!
I got another local target (Watchung, NJ) to do this for me. Funny how the one 5 miles away wouldn’t do it, but they would.
