Sorel Boots (giveaway)

As a mom living in Ohio I need boots in the winter. We get snow and then we get lots and lots of yucky slush making it impossible to wear regular shoes through much of winter. Unfortunately not many companies make a stylish winter boot that can also withstand the elements, but Sorel does. I was introduced to Sorel via Twitter and started browsing their boot collection to be pleasantly surprised at their quality. I completely feel in love with one of their boots and knew I had to introduce them to my readers. I know a lot of you live in areas where you need a winter boot that is more than just stylish but is functional as well. Sorel is known for their high quality boots that are warm, durable and made to withstand the elements. I was sent the Shila boot to try in the dark brown. This boot has waterproof leather to keep feet warm and dry with a fleece lining that helps wicks moisture away from your foot. The full front lace closure allows for easy access and a secure fit and the shila removable PU footbed offers great comfort and can be removed for quick drying. This boot is so warm that my feet where sweating when I wore them for the first time. I was excited about wearing my fall wardrobe and wore my new boots on a not very cold day and my feet roasted. I can’t wait to wear them on a below freezing day and not have my toes freeze. The Shila boot looks really stylish too, I love wearing them with jeans tucked in so you can see the full lace up front.

If I could pick any of the beautiful Sorel boots, it would have to be the Hoonah in Black…elegant and functional…you don’t get any better than that in my book!
