If you have been couponing for any length of time you know who the Coupon Mom is also known as Stephanie Nelson. The Coupon Mom is a leader in the money saving arena with all kinds of amazing tips and tricks for saving money. I was sent a copy of her book The Coupon Moms Guide To Cutting Your Grocery Bill In Half. I was very interested to read the book and see what kind of tips she had that I was not already using. I have been couponing and researching ways to shave our grocery bill for 2 years now and have become quite proficient. A lot of the book was things I already knew but being that she is THE Coupon Mom she did have some tips that I was unaware of. The one that struck me the most was her tip to buy spices from the bulk section at your natural foods store. She says you can save up to 75%…who knew? I have not yet been able to test this statement, but I am really hoping it is true in my area too. I love to cook and so I go through spices a lot and they can be expensive.
