We celebrated my daughter’s 5th birthday recently and since it was very close to Easter I was feeling the stress of hosting 4 events at my house in 1 week. The first event I was hosting was a birthday party with family and we are very lucky to have lots of family on both sides of the family so our little family party is 25 people and that’s a lot of food to make. I was so lucky to have Hoggy’s Catering come to my rescue and provide catering for my daughter’s party. She is a huge fan of Hoggy’s food as are my husband and I so we were over the moon to serve Hoggy’s food at her birthday party. I hosted the party on a Saturday and was hosting again the next day and again the day after that so to not have to spend hours preparing the food for Saturday…. PRICELESS!
When the Hoggy’s van rolled up my heart literally skipped a beat, I was so excited to have this delicious food delivered and I did not have to spend hours making it. I asked for the food at 4pm and it arrived literally on the dot, not only that I received a phone call from the driver letting me know he was 10 minutes away, very professional and very much appreciated. The guy who delivered the food (Jeremy) was so helpful and professional. He carried in all the food and unpacked it for me, when I realized I needed more counter space and mentioned I needed to move the microwave he offered to carry it to the basement for me ( how sweet was that!). I was so excited to see that Hoggy’s not only provides the food but they provided utensils, plates, napkins wet wipes and even red table clothes!
Now for the food, Hoggy’s brought so much delicious food! They brought pulled pork and pulled chicken in barbeque sauce ( of course we had to have that) we also had chicken tenders. For sides Hoggy’s brought a tray of baked beans and macaroni and cheese. Hoggy’s definitely thinks through all the details and they provided an extra container of barbeque sauce, ranch dressing and honey mustard. Of course they provided a giant bag of rolls for making sandwiches. I had no idea they would be providing desert and let me tell you I am so glad they did because not everyone likes sprinkle birthday cake like a 5 year old does but everyone loves HoHo Cakes from Hoggy’s!
My experience with Hoggy’s catering was just as good as my experience at Hoggy’s restaurant, delicious! All 25 guests showed up and we still had so much food left over that I fed the small party the next day with it. And don’t be fooled we ate a lot, I myself may or may not have had 2 pulled pork sandwiches because it was so good I had to have seconds! As we enter graduation and wedding season if you are holding an event big or small consider Hoggy’s Catering it is an all inclusive service you just need to provide the location, the people and the drinks they do all the rest. Worried about the cost? Hoggy’s offers a wide range of options and prices with catering starting at just $6.95 per person, a STEAL, you can find the whole menu online. Not throwing a party? Don’t worry you can still enjoy this delicious food and more every day at your local Hoggy’s Restaurant. Thanks to Hoggy’s for making my daughter’s birthday a HUGE SUCCESS!
I was lucky enough to receive this delicious food in order to facilitate my review of Hoggy’s Catering, all opinions are 100% my own!
