Fall Fashion Event: Northside Boots Plus a Children’s Shoe Giveaway (end 11/2)

It’s October and while there is no snow here in Ohio yet it will be here soon enough and that means I need to be thinking about snow boots. Most years I like to pretend that the snow isn’t coming and just wear whatever I want out in the snow, but now I have kids and they want to play in the snow so I need some real snow boots. As I started thinking about my criteria for a snow boot I knew it needed to do several things. My snow boots need to keep me warm, have a good tread so I don’t fall carrying a baby and they need to keep my feet dry.

My wonderful husband takes charge of the snow at our house which means  I rarely ever have to do the early morning or late night shoveling. Shockingly he has never had a pair of good snow boots, he just uses old tennis shoes and ends up with wet cold feet. When I saw the great selection of Northside boots for men I knew I needed to get a pair for him too. When the boots arrived I prefaced my gift with I know this is not as exciting for you as it is for me, but to my surprise he was really excited about his new boots. Apparently he was more sick of frozen feet than he let on! My husband is loving his Northside snow boots, they fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable plus they are warm and water proof what more can you want from a snow boot. I love that the boots look really good on, the sherpa adds a great rugged touch, look how good my husband looks!
