Ha! I totally understand! It is my go to place for a special coffee (got to have something with a drive thru!) and I think how affordable it is. Yum I love bacon too have not tried that salad. Being a mom is so glamorous sometimes
I also LOVE that southwest salad! My super fave is the barbacoa at Chipotle. I also enjoy the Freebirds carnitas on whole wheat with a dash of roasted veggies. Our family of four ate there for less than $40 yesterday. We are not eating out as much these days, but my daughter had to write a review for the school paper on Freebirds.

It’s hard to focus on what you’re saying when she’s so stinkin’ adorable.
I haven’t been able to enjoy a salad for months after all the dental work I had done last year but I love their salads too. I use to go unhealthy and get the crispy chicken ranch salad and ranch dressing.
Thanks Cat she is a doll! Ouch dental work is no fun, I have a very strong aversion to dentists! I usually finish my kids fries when I get the salad so I off set any good I did!
They really do have good salads at McDonald’s. Although I’ve got to admit, my guilty pleasure is the Fliet O’Fish. SHHHH! Don’t tell anyone!
I love that too, fish really shouldn’t melt in your mouth but when it does it is delicious!
Love your video Ellen! With five little ones I often put McDonald’s on the weekly menu plan and tend to catch heaps of abuse when I post it on the blog, but I’m just keeping it real. I agree with you that they do make yummy salads
Yes Denise reality is McD’s is cheap and easy with kids and with lots of littles you just need a break sometimes and McD’s can provide that!

Wow that salad actually looks terrific. I am really weird about meat so I normally wouldnt order from fast food because of the fear of processed, packed meat, but that actually looks like lean chicken breasts… I may have to check that out.
(oh, and I had to watch the video twice – the first time I was too distracted by your cuter than words cohost lol)
Thanks she is my joy! The chicken is a chicken breast from Tyson which I know because I met the head chef of McDonald’s at a blogger event. Before the chicken made me nervous at McDonald’s too.
