I love scarves and until yesterday they were in a trash bag on the top shelf of my closet (hangs head in shame). They went in that bag almost a year ago when we moved and never came out again and what is worse I have hardly even worn them because I keep forgetting about them up high in the ugly trash bag.

I found some inspiration on Pinterest that showed to hang scarves on shower curtain rings on a hanger and I was intrigued, BUT my closet is tiny and I share it with my husband so it is packed full, I did not really want to give even one hanger spot away. Then I saw the idea to use a tension rod to hang you scarves on at Momma in Flip Flops 2 so I combined them and voila organized scarves! As you can see I had to go front to back along to wall to find a spot for my scarves so it is a longer tension rod but I only use about 1/3 of it for hanging scarves.
Project Cost:
- Clear shower curtain rings $1.87 (Walmart)
- Tension Rod $3.87 (Walmart)
This project was Day 12 of my 31 Days of Organization Challenge

Love the idea of the tension rod and rings. Although, I’d have to have a really long rod because I have a whole lot of scarves! They are my favorite accessory!
You are the scarf queen, I did donate almost half of my scarves as I did this. You could do two tiers one slightly in front of the other so you can see them all!
I love this idea, especially when you don’t have as much room.
Thanks for the inspiration!
LOVE this idea!!
Thanks can’t take too much credit but it works so well!
