Magnetic Kid’s Chore Charts from Etsy

As I began tackling organization in my house it became very evident I needed a system for chores. You see I don’t pay my kids they are expected to do certain things in our house as members of this family. Nothing intense but as our family grows my kids need to start showing some responsibility with out me nagging and threatening punishment!

As I began my hunt for the perfect kid’s chore chart and chore system I found many awesome ideas and eve a tutorial for what I wanted but after I decided to make them I read the instructions and realized that I was out of my league. I am not super crafty and I knew I would stress and fight with the project and end up with something I hated so why not save us time, stress and money and support a crafty mom on Etsy!

So I found my dream Kid’s chore chart at Abbies House but I was not crazy about her magnetic chore pictures. I want mine to hang in my kitchen and since my floor plan is very open it would be on full display. I loved that I could customize colors of everything and I got exactly what I wanted! I only got 3 since my youngest is 1 but I will be ordering one for her very soon! The chore chart is $20 or $27 with 12 magnets.

I really liked the chore magnets at Responsible Rugrats she has cute chore charts too but they did not go with my kitchen style. Her magnets are $5 for 4 or else 10 for $7. You get to pick what they say from a list of options she had everything I needed but I am guessing she would make custom ones if you asked. The tokens do have irregularities and are not perfect circles, I think it adds to the charm but just letting you know.

So you can see my finished product and I am so so very happy. The quality of the chore charts is fantastic even better than I expected and my girls are so excited! I think this system will work really well for us and I love that there is lots of space for chores and I can add new ones as the kids grow.
