Last month just before Christmas my baby turned 1 and I still can’t believe it. Where did the year go? I know everyone says that but this is the first time I really felt it. There are so many reasons why this time was different I can and probably will fill a whole post with those, but this is about my baby’s big day. I am still adjusting to having a birthday so close to Christmas I literally kept forgetting as I got wrapped up in holiday preparations. None the less we had a great birthday party with lots of family and it wasn’t even winter or Christmas themed!
We all had a great time as evidenced by the cake face and of course she loved opening presents! I found these adorable 1st birthday party pink flower themed products. Since I was a bit scattered about getting this party together I really appreciated that I could purchase everything in one spot as a kit even the centerpiece!

Christmas time birthdays are hard! My older daughter is Dec. 26 and my baby (who also just turned one) is Jan. 15. Poor baby didn’t have much of a party; she was lucky to have some cake! But it’s how much we love them that counts, right? Time does fly, I agree.
