Tonight my husband walked out of his home office to see me cuddled in my Slanket (you know the blanket with sleeves and so much better than the Snuggie) on the couch. He stopped dead in his tracks and his jaw feel open.
DH: “What Are you doing?”
Me: ” Downton Abbey”
A look of relief comes over his face “Oh ok”
Yes it is literally that shocking to see me sitting still doing nothing all for pure enjoyment. That and I am not a tv show obsessed kind of person. Never before in my life have I purposely set aside a very specific hour each week for a tv show and sat watching it fully focused not doing something else at the same time…. and then I learned about Downton Abbey.
You see a year ago a dear friend and former college roommate messaged me on Facebook and said “Whenever you have some free time check out the BBC series, “Downton Abbey”. The heroine, Lady Mary, reminds me so much of you”
And so it began, I watched the show and was offended and then flattered and in all honestly I get why she thinks that. Since that day last year 2 more people who know me very well have asked if I have heard of the show and then proceeded to tell me Lady Mary reminds them of me. All this to say I am officially addicted and you can find me on my couch in my Slanket every Sunday night at 9pm. Downton Abbey has finally conquered me and made me as tv series obsessed as the rest of the world!

I love Downton Abbey! Normally I become uninterested in shows with a ton of characters because it can be hard to keep them straight and I end up mixing up people, but not this show! It is mostly the only show I watch live when it airs! Awesome show!
