Ellen aka Thrifty & Chic Mom is a 27 year old Home Economist by trade and co-founder of The P Family. She and her high school sweetheart joined forces to create The P Family in 2005, since then it has grown at an incredible rate and they have added The Princess age 4, The Ballerina age 2 and Little C age 6 months to The Family. While Mr.TC Mom goes out in the world to work hard and provide for his family Ellen stays home and has the daunting task of running the home and caring for 3 girls under the age of 4. While Ellen has always dreamed of being a mom and never once doubted her calling to be a Stay At Home Mom, there are days she is overworked, underpaid and just plain desperate.
Thrifty & Chic Mom is Ellen’s way of sharing what she knows and connecting with other women all over the world. The P Family has managed to thrive against all odds on one income in a two income world. It is her hope that TC Mom is a place for other women like her who are more than just moms, more than just wives and more than just women but all of those combined into one powerful force to come for tips, advice, thoughts and more.
