Sids Awareness Month (giveaway)

Sids is a parents worst nightmare and claims too many babies but fortunately their are things you can do to prevent this tragedy. Always put your baby on their back to sleep and keep the crib free of plush items including stuffed animals and blankets. So if you can’t use blankets how do you keep your baby warm? Sleep sacks! Nursing Momma Chic (giveaway)- CLOSED

I am a nursing mom and I love fashion and sometimes it is hard for those two to go together. I find myself buying clothing that is easy to nurse in and if it is too difficult I won’t wear it which often eliminates some great tops. I know many companies make nursing clothing but I have found so much of it to be unflattering and not fashionable. I have to say though I was recently corrected on this point when I found A Mother’s Boutique, this store is full of very fashionable nursing clothing that doesn’t look like nursing clothing. Some of these tops are just fantastic like this Raglan Turtleneck. I was lucky enough to receive this top from A Mother’s Boutique and it is fabulous even my mom said “how is that a nursing top?” You can’t tell, nos shelf across the middle, is it double layered so the nursing aspect is very discreet. I am truely in love with this top my only criticism is that the material is clingy so be sure and order up a size especially if you are still trying to get baby weight off your middle. I am working on losing my baby weight and looking good in this top is my goal. I know it may seem a bit pricey for some of you but don’t let that turn you off it is worth it. This quality piece will last you a long time and goes from casual to dressy so it is worth it.

The Best Diaper Pail Ever! (giveaway)

I have tried practically every diaper pail on the market and they have all failed to live up to my expectations. The Diaper Genie made me crazy with it’s complicated bagging system and the bags were so expensive. The Diaper Chammp was better on the wallet bag wise but did not hold the smell in and then I tried the First Years Clean Odor Free diaper pail and the fan just stopped working after 3 months. So as you can see I have extensive experience with diaper pails. I am not looking for a miracle I know diapers smell I just want a pail that works and I found it in the Diaper Dekor Plus. It is easy to use, no crazy system just step on the pedal the top pops open, push the door and drop in. The door has a lock to keep kids from playing with it which I have already come to appreciate greatly. The bag system is beyond simple and removing the bags is so easy! And the best part IT DOESN”T SMELL!!!!!! Now when you open the door to put diapers in you do get a whiff but you can’t expect the smell to completely disappear. When the door and lid shut the smell is gone and that makes me a very happy mom.

Happy Baby Food (Giveaway)

Making your own baby food is the best way to go in my opinion. It is cost friendly and you know exactly what ingredients your baby is getting, but it is not always practical. The same really can be applied to all food, making from scratch is ideal but not always feasible. Sometimes you need convenience and you want to make sure you baby is still getting healthy food. I was recently introduce to Happy Baby Food. Happy Baby Food makes organic 100% natural food for babies and toddlers. They make these great fresh frozen organic baby meals that are frozen in little cubes so you don’t have waste. My girls tried the HappyBites organic chicken with whole grain brown rice, potato, and natural seasonings. It was quite good and I was impressed with the quality of the food. My girls really enjoyed the meal and ate it all. As a mom I felt good serving this food to my kids and the fact that my kids actually ate it makes it even better. Rockin Baby Sling Giveaway
