Perricone MD Cold Plasma & Nutrient Fortifier

While I am only 27 years old I am already becoming a bit vain about my skin and possible wrinkles! When Perricone MD offered to let me try their Cold Plasma I jumped at the chance. When I received the cream I started using it right away twice a day. I did notice a change in my skin and the smile wrinkles are not as deep and noticeable. Unfortunately my super sensitive skin started breaking out a bit so I stopped using it. The generous people at Perricone MD sent me Perricone Nutrient Fortifier for sensitive skin. I LOVE the Nutrient Fortifier and use it twice a day. I still use the Cold Plasma but only once or twice a week. I am seeing a difference in my skin using NV Perricone MD’s face products. The price tag is high $90 for the Nutrient Fortifier, but I have good news I am giving away a bottle of Nutrient Fortifier to one lucky reader, keep an eye out for the giveaway post later this week!

I recently was sent the new Celtic Woman CD Songs From The Heart to review. My family is Irish and I grew up listening to Irish music and appreciating my heritage. My girls and I enjoyed listening ot this CD, Irish step dancing fascinates my daughters and when they heard the song NIL SE N LA they couldn’t stop dancing. The album is filled with various songs most of, which I recognized, done in an Irish fashion. I enjoyed many of the renditions and found it to be a very soothing and enjoyable album. If you enjoy Irish music then definitely check out his album. Celtic Woman is also going on tour, you can go HERE to check for concert dates.

Super Safe with Silikids

After the whole BPA scare lots of moms felt unsafe using plastic. Many moms started using glass again, but with glass comes the risk of breaking and getting cut. So what is a mom to do? How about Silikids! Silikids is an innovative company that makes silicone coverings for glass bottles and cups. My daughters are drinking from cups now but we have lots of spills so I was too nervous to use glass. I got a lilac siliskin glass that is just perfect for The Princess, she loves her cup. It is easy to hold since the silicone is non-slip and if she knocks it over I don’t freak out. I love that silicone is both recyclable and hypoallergenic. The glasses are a great price at just $7.95 for both the glass and the siliskin, available online.

Bravado Designs is known as a leader in the nursing bra industry and as you know I am a huge fan of their Allure and Sublime bra. Now Bravado has released a new line called Bravado Basics that is available only at Target. This new line is comprised of

The Emma Sleep Nursing Bra The Emma Nursing Sleep Bra features premium cotton and is designed especially for nighttime sleeping and nighttime feeding. Wear it under your sleepwear so nursing pads are held in place to absorb leakage. Nurse your baby by lifting up or pulling down for easy access.

The Stella Nursing Bra The Stella Nursing Bra features premium seamless stretch design so you can wear it while pregnant AND while nursing for great support, comfort, and shape. The clips open easily with one hand to nurse, or remain closed for your active lifestyle. Stella is made with soft, soothing fabric, and will be your favorite nursing t-shirt bra!

The Felicity Nursing Cami The Felicity Nursing Cami features premium seamless stretch design which provides great lift where you need it, and smoothing where you want it. Perfect for layering. Get two for one value since you can wear it from pregnancy right through to nursing. With satin trim, great tummy coverage, and length that won’t ride up.

I got to try out the new collection and it is fantastic. I really loved the Stella bra and the Felicity cami. Both the bra and the cami are incredibly comfortable to wear and especially perfect for those first few months of nursing when an underwire bra is not recommended. I like that the cami is a seamless stretch design that provides a very sleek line under your clothing. I live in nursing camis and this is a new favorite of mine. Go HERE to see if your local Target is carrying the new Bravado Basics line.

Every Mom Deserves A Dyson

I am the first person to critically look at a product when it is significantly more expensive than it’s competitors. I truly believe price is not always an indicator of quality, in some cases you are paying for a name or status level but the product itself is not inherently better than the competition. I can say with complete honesty that I believe Dyson is worth the price. I own the Dyson DC25 and I love it, but sometimes when my kids have dropped a cracker and stepped on it I just want a quick clean up. So I started looking into handheld vacuums and every time I looked I kept coming back to the Dyson. Dyson generously sent me the DC31 handheld vacuum and once again they hit it out of the park. The DC31 has several features that make it ideal for moms. I love the size and weight, it is very easy to handle and use. It is not too heavy or awkward and has a great sized nozzle for picking up messes. The suction power is fantastic of course and the easy push button empty feature is great. The Dyson DC31 is so easy to use my 4 year old can clean up after herself. I absolutely love this vacuum, in fact not a day goes by it isn’t used. My only complaint it that I feel like I am always charging it, but really it is because it gets used so much. The battery life is actually fine. The Dyson DC31 retails for $219, in the past I have seen deals where if you buy  certain Dyson full size vacuums you get the handheld free, that is a fabulous deal!

The Dyson DC31 is such a help to me in cleaning up my kids messes I wish I could buy one for all my friends, because every mom deserves a Dyson!

New Need for Speed Nitro for Nintendo Wii is a fantastic new driving game that is super easy to pick up. The game was designed with intuitive controls and multiple ways to steer the cars making it easy for everyone to find a comfortable way to play. Need for Speed Nitro has appealing graphics and fun multiple player modes as well. My husband and his friend have logged quite a few hours of racing over the past few weeks. The game has multiple course as well as levels of difficulty, plus you can earn and/or purchase new cars making it a different game every time you play. Because it has so many options this is not a game that becomes boring and repetitive, it is constantly changing and keeping you wanting more. My husband and his friend rate it an 8/10 and are thoroughly enjoying their racing time. As a mom I appreciated that the game does not contain any foul language or scantily clad women which seem to fill lots of racing game screens. Overall this is a fun racing game for Nintendo Wii lovers that is sure to be a hit with almost everyone.Need for Speed: Nitro sells for $40 on Amazon for Nintendo Wii and $27.99 for Nintendo DS.

My kids absolutely love the calafant cardboard toys they carry and have spent many hours coloring and creating with them. Recently Creative Toyshop has expanded their offerings to include 2 new products lunch skins and School Years: A Family Keepsake of School Memories. Lunch Skins are a reusable sandwich bag made of a moisture and grease proof fabric. This fabric is quick drying and dishwasher safe. Andrea’s Beau makes some really fantastic headbands, but the best part is they fit everyone. When I say they fit everyone I really mean that. They have this fantastic adjustable band that allows you to size the headband to your head. I often can’t wear headbands because they squeeze headbandsmy head and give me a headache, but tehse fell great. I really love the look of headbands and as a mom they are a great staple item to help on a bad hair day, this adjustable band has re-opened the world of headbands to me. Not only do the headbands fit great but they look great too. The headbands come in all sorts of fabulous designs or embellished details, there is sure to be one you love. I got to try out the retrobead soft adjustable headband and it is very cute. The beads are very festive for the holiday season and can really dress up a basic hairstyle. litelst pet shopLittlest Pet Shop Friends was just released for the Wii and the adorable little animals will have your kids giggling with delight. I was really impressed with how user friendly the game is, since it’s geared towards kids. My kids are on the younger side for games like this but they still enjoyed the animation and fun games as we explored the world of Littlest Pet Shop together. I thought the animals were adorable I as a mom I appreciated the fun and kid friendly games you play with your pets. Too many things geared towards kids are pushing them in to more adult tasks but not Littlest Pet Shop Friends. Dressing up and personalizing your pet is a fun activity for kids with over 100 accessories and 32 pets to play with, I think the giraffe is adorable, and the mini games are cute too. The only downside is that it is a 1 player game. If you have a Littlest Pet Shop fan in your house this is the perfect addition to your Nintendo Wii system. Littlest Pet Shop games are also available for Nintendo DS. Be sure to check out the Littlest Pet Shop online site it has lots of great interactive activities for your child to enjoy.
