Here are again and wow did this Friday come fast. This week has been a cray blur we had a first birthday party for our youngest, my MIL had some health issues and tomorrow my mom is having shoulder surgery, pure madness. So yes I did get my Excell spreadsheet made but no I did not input January. Amidst all of the chaos I made the executive decision to start in February fresh so now I have a lovely spreadsheet waiting to be filled in. As for the giveaways well I have done quite a few and underestimated the amount of time this takes so I am still plugging away.
Thanks to everyone who participated last week and thank you for all of the great support you are giving me and each other. I really enjoyed reading your posts and got inspired to take on some new tasks. Be sure to visit each other and offer words of encouragement some of you are taking on some hard tasks! On to this week since I foresee another crazy week so I am keeping it simple.
1. Catch back up with my coupon binder, it is a mess! I am behind on my clipping and so it has gotten a bit out of control. This week I will get everything clipped and sorted into it’s proper place.
2. Organize my desk top filer. This is my catchall mess area for all of my things that need a home so this week those things are getting homes.
There you have it my goals, I look forward to reading all of yours and seeing your results from last week. Be sure to leave a direct link below and grab the Focus Friday button for easy navigation.
How I did…

Well this week I am not telling how I did at the grocery store, and here is why.
First of all we had to start from scratch with our refrigerator since we had to pitch everything after the power outage.
The second reason is that while at Meijer I dropped my envelope of coupons and someone picked it up and helped themselves. Now I truly hope that they needed them and used them because I had some good ones in there. Fortunately I use a coupon binder and just place the coupons I plan to use in a separate envelope with my list on the outside so I did not loose my whole stash. Needless to say I was a bit upset and purchased much less than I intended and paid a lot more. While the total price was not that devastating the pathetically little amount of items I purchased was disheartening.
So (deep breath) I bought my stuff, delivered ice to those still without power and we are moving on.
To make a short story long I did terrible this week. I hope you did better, feel free to share! By the way how sad is it that losing an envelope of coupons literally ruined my whole grocery shopping trip, just a reminder of how much I rely on coupons to save me money. And on another note I will have my shopping philosophy up by next week. I promise unless we loose power again!
